E-Rain Racing First Test Session for 2008

E-Rain racing will be undertaking their first test session of the new year for the newly renamed Formula BMW Pacific, at the Sepang International Circuit on 8-10 January 2008.

E-Rain Racing’s Formula BMW Pacific Team Manager, Pongo Shin, arrived today in preparation for the test next week and has so far confirmed two drivers for their 2008 season; young American driver, Sean McDonagh and Japanese driver Ryuchi Nara.

McDonagh consistently collected points during the 2007 season, even managing two podiums, one in Sentul and again in Zhuhai to finish a respectable 6th in the Championship. The team has seen good potential in the youngster and hopes that he will be able to achieve more podiums in the 2008 season.

Although the 20-year old Nara only took part in the race weekend in Shanghai, the team is confident of his abilities and is looking forward to a great season with him.

E-Rain Racing is also still in talks with a few other drivers but declined to name these potential candidates.
