Ananda Mikola, the home favourite for the Gudang Garam Presents the Asian Festival Of Speed Indonesia, showed his might when he took charge of the Grand Race of the Formula V6 Asia by Renault early on and was crowned the winner.

He was also presented with the President's Cup, an 18ct Gold trophy, which has been donated by the Republic Of Indonesia President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and will be awarded each year to the winner of the Indonesian Round of the Formula V6 Asia by Renault Grand Race.

Mikola's father, Tinton Soeprapto, the President of Sentul International Circuit was on hand to present the trophy to his son in a highly emotional podium ceremony.

Karun Chandhok was on pole position, from his win in the Super Sprint race, with Mikola second on the grid, followed by Hamad Al Fardan and Matt Halliday.
